What does an undergraduate portfolio need to contain?

The portfolio is the "visual identity" of each candidate and determines their acceptance by Universities in the specialties of architecture, art and design. A successful portfolio is one that will catch the professor's attention among the dozens he will have to examine and that will win him over with its originality and overall presentation. For this to happen,it is not enough that the portfolio contains only linear and free drawings and some sketches.A good portfolio must contain different expressive media and techniques (video-art projects, on-site constructions, models, mixed media, etc.).For 8 years now, our students have been producing work with fresh ideas and excellent presentations, winning a place at the Universities of their choice.

the opinion of our students

"Preparing my portfolio at architectonica proved to be essential for my acceptance in the prestigious and competitive school of Architectural Association (AA). Architectonica was helpful  for the preparation for the real life of a student by stimulating a variety of proposals and by using different materials and an unconventional and conceptual approach towards each given subject. Working with Ms. Souvatzidou and architectonica's tutors was a pleasure; their approach together with their willingness to help and analyze, turned out to be the right combination for yielding a high-quality portfolio."
