What does an undergraduate portfolio need to contain?

The portfolio is the "visual identity" of each candidate and determines their acceptance by Universities in the specialties of architecture, art and design. A successful portfolio is one that will catch the professor's attention among the dozens he will have to examine and that will win him over with its originality and overall presentation. For this to happen,it is not enough that the portfolio contains only linear and free drawings and some sketches.A good portfolio must contain different expressive media and techniques (video-art projects, on-site constructions, models, mixed media, etc.).For 8 years now, our students have been producing work with fresh ideas and excellent presentations, winning a place at the Universities of their choice.

the opinion of our students

We chose to go to architectonica, having heard about the high standard of this school from a classmate of mine at school. My experience with portfolio preparation courses is the best. Apart from preparing a very good portfolio and being accepted by the Glasgow School of Art, which was also my goal, I looked forward to the class hours at architectonica, as it was a breath of fresh air for me, amidst the difficult schedule I was following to school. I also learned a lot of things that help me now in my studies. Most of the things we did in the first year we had already covered in architectonica so I was able to adapt to the University without any stress. So I am completely satisfied with this choice.
